• Genotropin is a recombinant human growth hormone (somatropin) developed to mimic the natural hormone produced by the pituitary gland. It is administered via injection and is commonly used to:

  • Treat growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in children and adults

  • Support growth in children born small for gestational age who haven’t caught up by age 2–4

  • Treat Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, and chronic kidney disease-related growth failure

  • Improve muscle mass, bone density, and metabolism in adults with GHD
