Shipping & Delivery

International Shipping Policy

Everything you need to know about how your medication is shipped, handled, and delivered — including cold chain protocols, carriers, timelines, and prescription requirements.

Cold chain maintained

All temperature-sensitive medications ship in validated insulated packaging, calibrated to maintain 2°–8°C throughout transit.

5–7 business days

Typical transit time once dispensed. Expedited overnight and two-day shipping options available from Canada.

Prescription required

A valid prescription from a licensed physician is required for every order, in every jurisdiction, with no exceptions.

1

Prescription Requirements

A valid prescription written by a medical practitioner licensed in your area of residence is required for every order, without exception. This applies to all medications we carry — GLP-1s, biologics, insulins, and specialty injectables.

All prescriptions must be written in English. If your prescription is in another language, a certified English translation is required before your order can be processed.

You may submit your prescription by uploading a clear photo or PDF during checkout, or by emailing it directly to us. Every prescription is reviewed by a licensed pharmacist at our dispensing pharmacy partner before your order is dispensed. This review is not automated.

Important: We are unable to process orders based on verbal or informal prescription communications. A written, signed prescription from your licensed physician is required.
2

Shipping Carriers

We use established, tracked carriers experienced with pharmaceutical shipments and temperature-sensitive goods. All shipments are tracked end-to-end from dispensing pharmacy to delivery.

Dispensing Country Carrier Tracking Typical Transit Time
Canada Canada Post / USPS  Major couriers Full end-to-end tracking Overnight – 2 days (expedited)  /  5–7 days (standard)
United Kingdom Royal Mail  Major couriers Full end-to-end tracking 5–7 business days

Total delivery time — from order confirmation through pharmacist review, dispensing, and transit — is typically 7–10 business days. Expedited overnight and two-day shipping options are available from Canada for urgent timelines. We recommend placing your order at least 10 days before your current supply is exhausted.

Cold Chain & Temperature-Sensitive Medications

Cold chain integrity is central to everything we do. All GLP-1s, biologics, insulins, and specialty injectables require strict temperature control from the moment of dispensing through final delivery. We treat this as non-negotiable.

How we protect your medication in transit

Validated insulated packaging — All cold-chain medications ship in insulated boxes specifically validated for pharmaceutical use, maintaining 2°–8°C throughout transit.

Calibrated gel packs — Gel pack quantities are adjusted seasonally and by destination climate to ensure the correct temperature range is maintained regardless of external conditions.

Temperature monitoring on request — Temperature indicators and data loggers are available for partners and patients who require documented cold chain verification. Contact us prior to ordering to arrange.

Replacement guarantee — If your shipment arrives with evidence of a temperature excursion or cold chain compromise, contact us immediately. We will reship your order at no charge.

On arrival: Inspect your shipment promptly upon delivery. If packaging appears damaged or the medication does not appear to have been maintained at the correct temperature, do not use the medication — contact us immediately at info@coldrxmeds.com and we will arrange a replacement.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the dispensing country, carrier, medication type, and destination. Cold-chain medications require specialized insulated packaging which is reflected in the shipping cost.

  • Shipping costs vary by service level — expedited overnight and two-day options carry a higher shipping cost than standard Canada Post delivery.
  • Cold-chain medications (GLP-1s, biologics, insulins) carry a higher shipping cost than ambient-temperature medications due to validated packaging requirements.
  • Applicable shipping costs are displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.
  • For B2B partner programs, shipping costs and structures are discussed and agreed during the partner onboarding process.

Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Orders

We stand behind every order we dispatch. If something goes wrong, we will resolve it.

Lost in transit

If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of your expected delivery date, contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and, where confirmed lost, reship at no charge.

Incorrect medication or quantity

If you receive the wrong medication or an incorrect quantity, contact us within 5 business days of delivery. We will arrange a correction at no cost to you.
